Selfwealth referral codeBefore signing up to Selfwealth make sure you take advantage of this offer to get 5 trades free.  Using this Selfwealth referral code could potentially save you nearly $50 in brokerage fees.

Selfwealth is a popular Australian stock trading platform.  I think it’s a pretty good way to buy ASX listed shares.  Here’s how to get your signup bonus:

Selfwealth Referral Code

Using this promo code will give you 5 free trades.  Each trade costs $9.50 for ASX listed shares.  So being able to buy or sell 5 times is a really good deal.  Here is how it works:

  1. Signup to Selfwealth using this link
  2. You’ll need to verify your account before you can start trading.  I completed verification in around 5 minutes so it’s a fairly painless process and it’s all done through the app/website.
  3. Enjoy your 5 free trades!

You can only use this offer if you don’t already have a Selfwealth account.  The trades will be available in your account for 1 month before they expire.

What is Selfwealth

Selfwealth is a popular alternative to traditional brokers such as Commsec or ANZ share investing.  They offer similar pricing on ASX shares, the biggest difference is they charge the same fee no matter how big the trade.  This means if you’re opening large trades, you’ll save more.

Selfwealth recently announced U.S stock trading as well.  However if you’re looking to buy U.S stocks (like Apple or Tesla) then I would recommend Stake or eToro.  As both of those platforms offer commission free trading, where as on SelfWealth they charge $9.50 for U.S stock trading.

Selfwealth does offer some nice community features that let you follow other traders.  This is similar to eToro‘s social trading features.  Although the traders on Selfwealth are all Australian whereas eToro is an international platform.

Trades on Selfwealth are CHESS sponsored which makes it easy to transfer shares between different platforms.  And you can transfer your shares into your Selfwealth account.
